Alexandre Fonseca

Alexandre has more than 6 years of experience in the Youth Sector as a professional who has done (almost) everything with the EU Youth Programmes - from being a volunteer to a project manager, a trainer and an applicant. He has been a project manager at DYPALL Network, fostering Youth Participation at the local level and a trainer for the Pool of Trainers of the Portuguese Youth Council. Alexandre feels passionate about supporting youth participation initiatives, particularly at the local and grassroots level.

Alina Besleaga

Alina (she/her) has centred her career on youth engagement, democratic participation, and international cooperation. Originally from Moldova, she has worked in both the public and third sectors as a youth worker, non-formal education facilitator, trainer, and project manager. She focuses on fostering democratic participation and promoting community engagement, volunteering, and youth-led initiatives. A recent graduate of the Erasmus Mundus Master in Adult Education for Social Change, Alina is a power-literate, trauma-informed educator passionate about non-formal education.

Jaan Aps headshot

Jaan leads Stories For Impact, a social impact research and consulting company focused on increasing organisational effectiveness in improving human well-being. He enjoys blending analytical and creative thinking, which he has applied in researching for SALTO flagship projects and crafting concise, interview-style stories. In 2019 and 2023, non-formal education programs initiated with Jaan´s participation received the "Deed of the Year" award from the Estonian Ministry of Education and Research and the Education and Youth Board. A renowned public speaker and trainer, Jaan has addressed thousands in Estonia and internationally, including at a TEDx event. He co-founded and led the Estonian Social Enterprise Network from 2012 to 2019.Additionally, Jaan evaluates for the Estonian Responsible Business Forum's Responsible Business Index and teaches in the ESG Manager Development Programme at the Estonian Business School's Executive Education branch.
