NPiY Survey on Survey on Cross-sectoral Practices
The survey is part of a new mapping activity aimed at identifying inspiring practices of youth participation in democratic life through cross-sectoral cooperation. It is open until 20 September 2024.
The mapping is launched under the umbrella of “New Power in Youth” (NPiY), a strategic partnership between several National Agencies for Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps and SALTO Resource Centres.
The main aim of the activity is to identify and analyse inspiring practices of youth participation in democratic life through cross-sectoral cooperation.
The practices are collected through a survey form until the end of September and the results of the analysis are planned to be announced at the Participation Forum in November 2024 followed by a publication and an article featured on the Participation Resource Pool.
The mapping specifically focuses on the practices/projects that:
- have been done in collaboration between the non-formal Youth sector and one (or more) of the four formal education sectors: School Education, Higher Education, Adult Education, and Vocational Education.
- have as target groups either young people or professionals working with young people (eg. capacity-building opportunities for teachers/educators and youth workers to foster youth participation in democratic life).
- stimulate and promote youth participation in democratic life, addressing the way young people behave and interact with democracy.
- feature inspiring methods such as experiential learning methods, also referred to as non-formal or alternative educational methods.
- have the potential to be replicated with necessary alterations.
Those who are interested can find more details in the Guidelines and present their project/practice by filling out the survey form by 20 September 2024.
For questions, please do not hesitate to ask the youth participation expert in charge of the survey, Aleksandra Mangus, at aleksandra.mangus@gmail.com.
